Well…I’m greedy this weekend and participated in 3 entire 3 hours competitions…(bored? Perhaps…)

Man that was hard…finished about 1. minute before rendering 3 hours,
didn’t get the materials right…but aaahhghh

Your boredom yields great stuff! I probably couldn’t do half of that in 3 hours… still so much to learn. I saw one of your others (with the grill). Did you post the 3rd?
Thanks
Yeah… the third one is in the 2D-drawing section…under doodeli doodles something
weird sketching thread…
I like it!
I too made a boom box a few months back also. Only it took about 3 days … :-?
Here’s mine:

I really like your DOF. What did you use?
Redbyte:
Thanks
For DOF (since I used the internal-renderer) I just dabbed on some blurring
layer-by-layer in The GIMP to make it appear like it’s deep-out-of-focus.
Saves time too
I like your Boombox too - especially since it has a COOL blue-glow
coming out of the speakers. Overall - your 3 day image is a LOT BETTER
than my little puny 3-hour attempt. The ground (cubes) could be better
in quality & shading & renderer though…but again - your boombox is way
cool!
