# You are being watched. You are being judged

Firstly, props to Ryuu and Josh. We all know who they are and how much they have contributed to the hard surface modelling wannabe’s like me. I saw this vid on YouTube and this model was used to explain the texturing in Unreal. I’m not interested in that. I am only interested in the model and how to make it.

So, am I an artist because I reproduced Ryuu’s model? Yep, I’ll tell you why. The form of that model inspired me. The principles that the Bro’s teach also inspired me. This is about the work. I watched 100s of hours of their videos and I’ve taken it all in. I am starting to understand what art is. It’s hard work, no bullshit.

The model idea is not mine but the execution is and to me that is how I learn.

I don’t know how to tag them, but the post is all about giving them credit.
