I get this message when trying to use an animated gif.

You may not upload animated images.

Why?
What’s the big deal?
Other people have them here.
That’s not fair.

I made a Blender Artists animation just for
this forum and now I can’t use it.

Here is what it looks like.

It is odd that an animation-related forum doesn’t allow members to display animated gifs any more.

There was a statement when the site changed that mods were going to advise existing users of animated avatars to remove them. Obviously that didn’t happen :slight_smile:

I posted a similar topic in the past, too. No replies yet, though. :frowning:
Imageshack is getting all the stuff in the meantime…:smiley:
