You might be a blenderhead if....

…I kid you not, I just tried to click on a folder in Windows on the desktop, and pressed the G key to move it…

anybody else have blender habits carry over into other applications?

how about we do this :: "You might be a blenderhead if… "…

if … you use the click/hold and drag MMB on webpage graphics to see the other side.

…if you always try to move selections around in the Gimp/Photoshop by using the G key.

It would be a lot easier than selecting the selector or move tool.

in illustrator CTRL + W closes the window…
and i always try to select points and stuff with the RMB

You spend 20 or more minutes looking in the mirror wondering if you could model your own face. Then you actually start seeing it in wireframe with vertices selected.

…if you’re thinking…why wouldn’t that work?

I think its actually that the way blender works is so damn effecient .

I use adobe maybe 16 hours a day , but after an hour on blender , I keep hitting C to center my adobe window , and g to move stuff …

…if you keep stearing at a dog’s crap for 20 minutes thinking how could you model such a perfect organic form :o

(That never really happened to me but if someone DID that, please send me a message. I´ll give you a good psichiatrist number!! )

if you try to move down and up on webpages using ctrl+numpad2 and 8

if you try to delete stuff in windows using x

if you try to select everything in a folder using a…

oh gosh…so many habit…what the hell did blender done to me!! aaaaaAaAAaaAAaaaahHHhhhhHHH!!

i hate this stuff, it all happens to me…

ctrl+w, is the most common button for me

try to figure out how to model and texture a real object, while ur talking to somebody

look at different angles with 1+3+7

render with F12…
…in photoshop

if you spend 12 hours a day on #blenderchat

oh and when in pubs all you can do is look at the pint in front of you and thinking how cool the refraction is.

After a long day of modeling I went out to the mall… on the bus and a few other areas I remember closing my eyes and seeing everything in wireframe… with vertices. :o It was an incredibly freaky experience. But at the same time made me realize that I will be able to model properly eventually.

lol I am always trying to exit other programs with ‘Q’ key. :stuck_out_tongue: Also, every time I see a finished render, I have the urge to rotate it in the 3D window.

When Blender.org is your web browsers home page.

lets see-

I closed my eyes to go to sleep and see wireframes.

I tried to select a corner in photoshop with rmb.

I tell my friend they unleashed the beast and he gets mad at me.

A few examples proving Blender’s efficiency:

When you press “ESC” to cancel changes in 3ds max.
(Discreet has brainlessly designed the program so that “ESC” accepts
changes…but only in certain cases)

When you press ‘,’ to rotate around the cursor in 3ds max…but there is no cursor to rotate around.

When you press “+” and “-” to zoom…in Photoshop.

when u have two moniters, and one ALWAYS has blender on it

…when you stay up late on elYsiun when you really should start your English essay that’s due in a couple days.

When you rotate your head around the Y-axis to look at something, instead of just ‘turning’ it.

The Blenders UI is quite infectious though, I keep using G to move stuff in Flash. Doesn’t work! …makes me angry.
