Why does the Zblur plugin fails when used with the Unified Renderer???
Edit: And Materials with Z-transp On are not blurred!!!
Grrrrr…
should I resort to another DoF technique???

Hi, Stefano.
Thi’s a bug of the unified renderer (the same problem is with halos).
Is more complicated, but do you can use my technique
Ciao

Ok,
If it’s faster than the MBLUR hack…
Thanx!!!
Stefano
At least 10 times faster
Caronte: yes, but your technique has some limitations too. Like, for example, it cannot blur halos, or volumetric lights, and it takes a bit more work if you want to edit the scene afterward (add other objects, for example). Other than that, it’s better the MBlur technique.

All right, thi’s true
is there still no way to use Zblur with Unified Renderer?
-You can try this script(still beta) with the unified render.
It works as postprocess.

Looks interesting, but after few minutes on small picture and after milions of warnings:
Mathutils.VecMultMat(): Deprecated: use vec * matrix to perform row vector multiplication
I’ve to stop this script
-I dont get warnings using Blender 2.37 and Python 2.3.
Which version are you using?
-As regarding the time elapsed it may need some minutes
to compute.
