Zbrush fibermesh to blender workflow.

I everyone, i searched the web but i couldn’t find an answer to my question.
I wonder if there’s a way to attach a particle hair system to imported fibermesh curves from zbrush. Zbrush is amazing when it comes to hair styling and i’d like to import my hairstyles to blender.
Just like you would do in maya, import the curves (in .ma format) and attach a hair system to the curves.
I can import obj curves without problems in blender and convert it into curves, but i can’t find out a way to use them as hair guides.
Any tips? Thanks in advance!

I don’t know if this relates, but In the latest release, there is functionality for using a mesh to constrain hair. I don’t see anything about it in the current release notes ( 2.75 ) but I recall seeing it in the release notes for 2.75 RC2. Not sure what the deal is with that.
