Hello all,
The original is made by my mom, and I thought it would be cool to make a 3d version of it :slight_smile:
For the texture I exclusively used the original image, and the clone tool in both gimp and blender.

It looks cool, however I’d like to see the wires too. Did you just paint the whole thing? Or is actual 3d? Either way it looks very good, good job.

Excellent work. I also wondered if it was made in Blender at first. I hope you take that as a complement, though. It generally means you did a very good job when other Blender users doubt that something was done in Blender.

BTW, is the original painted on tiles? The lines dividing the image up look like grout lines to me.

Yes, the original is painted on tiles with maiolica.

You should model the water too.
You should try your version of it with different angles, textures etc.
