Doing this Zerg Logo. I can’t get the colour ramp right. Any ideas? I need to have the purple in the center and red on the outside.

You just need to use a spherical gradient. However, your object isn’t exactly circular, so don’t expect the gradient to spread uniformly along the “claws”.
BTW, nice logo. Shinyyyyy…
