Zero Suit Samus (Stylized)

Hey BlenderArtists!

I chose to create a stylized version of Zero Suit Samus inspired by Alex Ahad’s concept. (https://bit.ly/1hVjGdJ). My goal wasn’t to simply get the lead out and begin creating personal art again, but I also wanted to learn Blender 2.8 (been a Maya guy for 20+ years) and create a piece that could be 3D printed. I’ll post some pictures of the print when completed!

Character was sculpted in ZBrush, Blaster/Boots modeled in Blender 2.8 (HardOps/Boxcutter), rigged/posed with Auto-Rig, textures done in Substance Painter and rendered with Cycles.

Overall had a great time working on this character and I really am digging Blender 2.8!

Thanks for looking!

That’s really nice

looks around to see if any mods are listening

SURE IT DOES WORTH A “FEATURED” EH ???

… just saying …

Haha, thanks Kilon! I have some more WIP images of her blaster and boots (all done in Blender), I can post them if interested.

Blaster and Boots were modeled in Blender 2.8 using HardOps and BoxCutter. Such amazing tools!

Since I still can only post 1 image per reply, I figured I’d just compile the WIP into a single picture.
