hi,
this is a character for my zombiegame. Im makin a megagore zombiesmashin game with ragdoll stuff so i made him from seperate pieces. Model - 664 faces, 11 objects… and a hand drawn texture with photoshop and my Wacom tablet…
Now i’m makin some zombyish animations and a weapon - shotgun.
dam… well i was thinking of making a zombie game… .except that i wouldnt have ragdolls… well gotta stick to my adventure game idea then…
i really like the texture work. The folds at the base aren’t very convincing though. If they are on a separate layer I would use an opaque eraser just to lighten them up. And the area between the legs from the back shot needs to be darkened up some.
I dont think you need separate objects for ragdoll, I think armatures/bones will work jsut as good.
Nice work! I love the texturing.
Oh sweet. Aside from what was mentioned and the massive jaw this is great. I’d also desaturate the blood, and blend in the bottom of the rib cage better(the right side). The shoes rule, great work. Some nipples would also help, and human ears.
Frightening!!!
Very nice work.
The main problem with separate elements is that the joints are
always a bit weird…and the realistic shoes clashes a little with
the almost “quattrocento” torso
But it’s not important, it’s well done
Bravo
As far as I know, you cannot have a ragdoll armature. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but…
And oh, how are you going to animate a ragdoll?
Someone did a rigged ragdoll, cant remember who it was. When the ball hit it, the character was replaced with a ragdoll. Just that it was done with the old scripting system…
hey Martinsh,
Good job your doing there, a few things i would like to say.
I like the jaw thing you did there. The skin colour looks like metal, becaus you make it look to shiny, skin shines on a larger softer scale.
The rib should go further down, (feel at your own body). And to much muscle for someone who you want to look skinny.
Keep it up man,
Wessx
I did ;).
thx for replies
soon ill show fully animated zombie… with simple AI and ragdoll stuff
Great work!!
Thanks for shareing!
great job. the thighs look a bit wide though.
ha, wow, that dude is disgusting. One thing, his stance is a little bow-legged…
Heh, everybody loves zombie games. Same goes for ninjas and hot dogs (I think).
Good model, even better texture work.
Nice job.
Beautiful texture job! I really like the skin. However, I think the model needs a lot of work. I think he has very womanly hips. THe seem a little wide and thick. Also, his crotch is really high, and the gap between his legs is pretty wide. His forearms also bulge out to the sides oddly. But I love your texture, especially the face. I would recommend additional damage besides the face and rib wound. Perhaps he could be missing a hand and the splintered, bloody bone protrudes from it… Good job overall though!

uh…
respect drops a couple notches
lol. Nice texture work, and who doesnt enjoy a good hot dog related game?!
You may want to rethink that Chaos…
I dont think straight when i’m tired i’ve been running on 2 hrs of sleep the past few days. school is stressin me out >_<. and can we see a wireframe of the zombie model martinsh?
Very Impressive. I’m a big fan of your work, hopefully he’ll show up in one of your games. good luck
