Zum- my first character :)

that’s a funny little guy! The wires show quite a lot of verts and the mesh looks like a mix of
quads and tris. Subdivision (render looks like sds) looks way better and smoother if you use
only quads. Go to edit mode, press a to select all and press alt-j to let blender convert tris to
quads where this is possible.
Cool result for the first character though !!
What are your plans for him? Going to animate him?

Wach lot of animations (cartoons) check animation tehnic and done it pass by pass don`t hurry
… thats about animation after riging…

One thing about animation is about make all sync with all so if your hand is moving in 3 secound then your character must make it same or proportional faster check the bone limit in real life … even if a cartoon is not an human it is and stilization of humans just to put something in front and explain others
