I am JeM YinJoy, Ph.D., born on earth, in the 20th century. I am an environmental microbiologist, a mystic, an artist, a writer and the creator of 44 original paintings of microbes or microbial communities that keep our planet clean and habitable.

While I trained as a research scientist at Cornell University, I also follow a mystical path. This leads me to apply multidimensional solutions to problems in science and in life.
I am learning how to animate my original artwork to create more immersive and entertaining educational experiences for future Microbe Whisperers.
