How did you achieve glass with no fireflies!?!
I guess the 4000 samples got rid of most of them. 
You probably know the filter glossy setting, which I also used. I had increases the max bounces to 64, which also helped a bit - I think… However caustics were enabled because I used a lot of colored glass shaders.
Oh… And the clamp direct and indirect removed a bunch of the fireflies as well.
