John's BIG sketchbook

Hehe, This is quite a piece I’ve been working on. I didn’t do it in one shot, instead I spread the drawing process over a whole week.

In case you don’t see who it is: it’s Leonardo Decaprio from Shutter Island

I’ve also made a WIP below so you can see how I’ve been working with it, one picture is one days job (about two hours pure work)

Now this is great work.

I think john is professional painter, because he has made great pictures and all are looks real images. So basically you have great skill to draw the image and specially I like the picture if Lionardo D Caprio.

Hello everyone!

I felt it was time to restart this sketchbook since I recently have started drawing more and more often and wanted to share my work.

My current focus is to learn figuredrawing and at the same time mixing it up with some charicatyre drawing which I hope will be interesting for you to see!

Hope you like it!

Some figure studies

Another pixar fan I see? =) Love ratatouille also ost is awesome if your into soundtracks.

@Wing-rk: Yes I sure am a huge pixar fan! As probably many people on this forum  I don’t really get what you mean, “ost”? Is that a soundtrack or? :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyways, I have been working on this armstudy for a couple of hours and I wanted to hear your oppinions on it. I’ve used sources on the internet to figure out bone positions and so on, but every one seems different.

So does it look alright?

Enjoy!

And some lions!

What program you using? Also, bamboos (all the way) =D

Hi GraphiX!

These recent ones are drawn on plain 170g paper  though on the computer I use Photoshop as a sturdy base tool which is good for francly everything

And I have to say that bamboo do rock!

Hi again!

This time I would like to show you two sketches I made for my friend that is going to get a tattoo. I must say that she is really brave to let me design it for her!
