Hi. I wanted to make a monster crammed into a car just for fun.
I began with an old, low poly, triangulated model of a BMW Isetta 250 that we owned…
…distorted it with a lattice in blender and began to rebuild it out of Quads
I then began to flesh out a monster in Zbrush. I have only done a rough by this stage and plan a bunch of details.

This is my first render in Cycles (not ever, just for the car :))
I continue in Blender adding car details while I bounce back to ZBrush for the monster.
Further updates with more car details added and rough colour on the monster.

Spent tonight on suitcases tentacles and goo from the tailpipe.
Also rebuilt the wheels giving them tread as well as other small details.
Very nice renders and interesting concept. You got the cartoony look here.

Might be fun to make the tires look like they are being squished more than normal due to his size:) Great concept…maybe try a purple-ish red for the car color to better accent the color of the monster:)

I agree. It had purple interior back when the car was yellow and toned it down a heap. It’s still a tiny bit purple and the tires are on my list to do. So much left to build and adjust. I thought I’d keep it simple but it’s just growing by the second.

More details here. (Victorians note the rego stickers on the windscreen :)).
Still lots to do.
This is a turntable of an older version.

That’s beautiful, is it rendered in cycles?

Yes, pretty simple shaders really, the trick was finding a HDR that looked good. I might dig about for another free one and try some further options.

Update! It’s taking longer to render this now with SSS and larger maps being used. Hope to get a turntable out when its done.
