Remove things from the Propertys that are useless

Blender is a great tool for 3D Print. In this situation i do not need the UV Stuff etc and only a few porpertys like units in the scene and stuff like that.

My Thought was:
Is it possible to remove for example uv mapping and stuff like this from the default right hand side options?

Second thought is:
Lets say i have a workspace that does not need any toolbars at all like a workspace optimized for 3D Print Imports and Filebrowsing etc.
Just an idea to see if this is possible in general…

Hope this was understandable

HI,
I’m afraid I don’t understand what the “right side option” is, if you mean the Properties panel you can’t change it (unless you want to change the Blender source code). However you can deeply customize/create any workspace keeping only the panels and tools you need and hide what you don’t. With a few lines of Python you can also create your own custom panel with just the few options/information you want and then save it as a Template or Startup file.

sweet. So can i get some of the things hidden? lets say i never need uvs for example so i do not need any uv propertys or icons etc on my right hand screen side

This is useless in 3D Printing Interfaces-. Can i hide that or get rid of it in any ways? Hope its more cleat now…

No, you can’t. You want to change the Properties panel and, as I said, you can’t without knowing how to modify Blender source code. You can hide the whole panel but you can’t modify it (to be honest you can add your own subpanels to its tabs with some Python but i think this is not the case…).

This might be interesting… there are two… one for 3D printing:

Shouldn’t be much to do if you want to remove those sections. You might be able to comment them out in python even without compiling. But even if you had to compile, not a whole lot to change
