Tile Branch is in Trunk

The Branch is quite a bit out of sync with trunk (a few months). Before tile gets into trunk, we will merge trunk and changes there into tile, so I think old node groups will work fine. :slight_smile:

Iā€™m aware that not all nodes have been ported to OpenCL yet due to missing fundings for phase 5, but the above reads that some nodes should have been ported to OpenCL already (phase 4 which is finished) so there should be OpenCL functionality in the branch.

Just grabbed and compiled the tile branch, there is an OpenCL checkbox in the compositorā€™s n-panel. But I was not able to test the defocus node as it seems broken atm (with and without OpenCL).

i thought the defocus node was broken too, but the max blur just needs to be set to something > 0. at least that was what i found! seems like a bug (?).

Graphicall build r46105:
Lens distortion node through Viewer node renders as black image with occasional colored stripes or dots or part of image. Clicking checkboxes randomly on and off sometimes makes it render accurately. Behavior is the same regardless of render quality.
When rendering with compositing enabled, result is as expected, modifying settings in node editor makes it behave weird.

Hikesonmis, there are some bugfixes since Revision 46105.
The Lens distortion bug is in the bugtracker.

SnoWWolf, i wouldnt be suprised if this is the same bug report i filed for the ID Mask node, at the moment it doesnt support the smooth mask option, which is why it gives the black borderā€¦

@doublebishop, Yeah i didnā€™t noticed the smooth mask issue before i saw your commit, but strange thing is a cube has the texture applied, and no black border on it, only on plane. Also different textures produce different area of black border.

I can not get the crop node to work in Blender 2.63. Unless it is user error. But I tested in with an image. Played around with the settings and nothing shows up in the viewer node. It is just black. I just want to crop about an inch off the bottom of my rendering with it.
