Volume "Fac" IPO not mix-downing

As you’ll notice on the end of this animation here, the music doesn’t fade, but it does int he sequencer with the proper Fac ipo settings (frames 1-100 represent the entire span of the sound). As I said the proper fading occurs when playing in the sequencer, and when scrubbing. The mix-downed audio doesn’t have the correct fading, as heard in this video:
https://blenderartists.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15794

Is this a bug, or have I done something wrong?

PS: at the end of the animation where it fades to the blender logo, then to black, the music never stops playing though it does stop in the sequencer.

Anyone? I need help!

try e-mail intrr directly or posting it in the bug tracker.

Thanks for finding this, it’s indeed a bug, the volume envelopes don’t get accounted for in the mixdown somehow… must have forgotten something when i ported it from instinctive…

will investigate and try to fix it for 2.28c!

Thanks!

I’ll just have to use audacity to fade out the end of the music track, then add it back in, and mixdown!

Thanks again for checking out!

It is fixed in current bf CVS, if you can compile.

:frowning:

Mandrake isn’t very nice to me…I can’t get tuhopuu to compile…

I’ll get debian sid someday!
