Cool! How are you gonna print it??
Once I get my OrdBot Hadron working again I’ll get around to it.
The Transparent part on the top though will likely have to come from Shapeways, along with some of the more fiddly bits above the handle.
A 'Trek prop that just arrived in a clients hands from Shapeways US. It was done in two parts - thus the barrel is missing in the print as it was printed before the client decided they wanted the whole prop.
The model is based on the 'VaronT disruptor from TNG.
Some more WM/GG2.0 exploration and a shot of my continuing work on the ‘replacement’ DS9 starbase from the Star Trek novels.
Had some real trouble with the z axis pylons and the interconnects between the egg and the outer ring… But forward I march. Almost happy with the shapes.
Also some more WorldMachine/GeoGlyph2.0 terrain shenanigans.
The constant modification of the Osiris stealth ship continues. That and some preliminary work on a new scene.
Thought I’d play with some camera movement.
A first attempt at building a workflow between GeoGlyph, Megascans and Cycles.
Inspired in part by a NatGeo photo of the week of Crater Lake.
Somewhat happy with this.
Very interesting project you have going … I like very much some of your design concepts and the Gun and Prop look fantastic…
