Here is my non-competing entry:
SOCRATES: LESSONS FOR THE NESCIENT
Pure Blender 2.79, Cycles, only procedural textures.
The setting makes a few visual allusions to Raphael’s The School of Athens and Jacques-Louis David’s The Death of Socrates.
For the likeness of Socrates I compared my stylized attempt against these two sculptures from antiquity (1st and 4th centuries respectively).
