What is the difference (besides 6mb) between these 2 builds?
Is it just stability?

Hi, the RC versions are the last “test” versions before release of 2.78.
No new features are added to RC, only bugfixes.
The daily build are the latest development versions with new features, bugfixes but may not as stable as the RC or stable.
The experimental VC2015 version is build with a different compiler, iirc it is a bit faster than “Official”.
