2.8 camera visibility?

in some files I have problem to see the camera icon in viewport
depends on angle
but most of time I see a simple rectangle instead of the normal camera icon

also if unselected then I don’t see the camera icon at all !

so how to correct this camera incon in viewport
or is this a bug in 2.8 ?

looks like a bug to me.

look in the settings and try turning off viewport anti-aliasing

or try increasing or reducing you screen resolution

these are all wild guesses

I’ve come across this myself. I believe I was able to correct it by going to Viewport Overlays at the top right, and checking “Extras”. Hope this helps!

I already have extra ob set

this is only on some occasions that this happen
and I was in ortho mode
