2.8 interface

I know the old blender interface well. I’m having issues with the 2.8 interface. Everytime I sign in the viewport with a model I saved. All I get is blackness in the viewport. So I correct it with going to window and the create new work place.

I would continue using the 2.79 but I want to start learning texturing thats why Im trying the 2.8.
with regularly opening Blender 2.8 to start a new project, I don’t get that problem only on my saved models that I did with 2.79.

is it becuase they were model in 2.79?

When opening your file, I would recommend unchecking the ‘load UI interface’ checkbox with anything from Blender 2.7* so that you start with a nice clean interface (based on your current layout). I find doing this solves most immediate problems of old models.
