Why Shading scene hair type with the result of the rendered hair type is not the same.
I want the render result to be a ribbon ,

Perhaps use an alpha masked hair strand type texture rather than green grass? Ribbons are in the hairtool addon for purchase, not built into Blender. I don’t have that link on gumroad.com handy, anybody?
but this feature is available in Cycles Render . Evee must be too ,I could not find.
can it have a different option?
This product works in Blender and has the hair particle to curves to mesh ribbon features. Otherwise you might try a hair strands uv type alpha masked texture on your grass mesh shape? that you are using as hair?
