I’m currently playing with curves.
Even though there are sometimes strange behavious ( kind of bugs but mostly due to invisible mesh data ) it works like a charm.
There’s only one defect: in red on the pic
This is produced by profile ( bevel ) progression along the curve till the sharp edge.
This kind of artifact can be handled and solved specifically on sharp edges ( >90° ) by remeshing the 2 segments of the sharp edge, avoiding mesh self surface collision.
I searched a lot for options but found nothing about this.
Does anybody know of such a feature ?
Maybe from an addon ?
Is there a dev roadmap for solving this ?
