2.9 Sky Texture differs for different release dates?

HI. I am trying 2.9 at work and created a scene using sky texture. I downloaded today’s release candidate and differs considerable from the one I used last week. I understand that the official release is not ready yet and things might change in the process. I think was mistake to use it for clients work :frowning:

Comparing the light from last week to the recent release: The release I downloaded to day totally overblown the light…so 2.5 sun intensity last week…is kind of .2 of latest blender 2.9

I just want to be sure I am not doing something wrong…although the only thing I did was to load the same scene and realizing all the scenario was white due the sun intensity.

What is strange is now the sky texture needs to be decreased to .2 sun intensity to have a kind of ok light…

If you know where can I post this in order to ask if something changed I would really appreciate it. I am also curious if someone experienced this too.

Hi, the developer of the new sky texture decided to set a real world intensity, already there are a discussion about that decision in developer talk.
