2D Texture into a 3D texture

Hi
As you can see here the texture becomes doubled and doesnt fill the sides, how would i go about making this look more realistic in terms of filling the gap between the 2D texture? I used a normal texture image with transparency. Any help would be very very appreciating. Thanks.

To “connect” the upper and lower part there has to be somekind of topology… so you might have a look at some vectorizing tools and then extrude this…
