2D to 3D Is something i wanted to try for a long time. it was a very good learning experience for me. Finding alot of references about how this character would look in 3d (Anatomical references and stuff) was a challenging job . I have used the concept Art of “Dean Heezen” . he is an amazing artist be sure to check him out.
I have also recorded a timelapse process of how i sculpted this character. its short and showing my usual workflow for sculpting and texturing characters like this smiley
