2nd Hand – Detroit Electric

After a longer break I found the motivation for a Blender project again. The 2nd Hand series continues with an electric car from 1918 (!), Model 75 Brougham by Detroit Electric. I started over about five times, got lost again and again in rather unimportant details, but now I am quite happy with the result. Besides the miniature representation of the car, I tried another approach, which is mainly about light and shadow as well as image composition. Everything was done in Blender, rendered with Cycles.

I hope you like the result and I’m looking forward to the next project.

Nice! And it is so crazy we had electric cars over a hundred years ago… too bad it didn’t stick…

thank you my friend :upside_down_face:

Omg this is the exact kind of car I absolutely adore and you’ve nailed it, I love everything about this, it’s perfectly sharp where it needs to be and curvy and cartoony otherwise. I love the toy box and the renders, amazing!
