3D illustration #2

Another Blender illustration. On the last one it was suggested I should try and use lighting, but I found as soon as I added real lighting I lose all of the illustrative qualities I’m looking for. I tried a kind of cel shading to mix between two pictures depending on whether something was in light and dark, but also found that less aesthetically appealing.

I’ll keep on and hopefully find a technique develop as this is only my second picture. Suggestions definitely welcome.
