3D mascot model

Project Description:

We are looking for a skilled 3D artist to develop and create a high-quality 3D mascot model. The artist will start working on the 3D model once the mascot sketches are approved. The 3D model will be prepared for use in animation and other digital materials. The creation of the 3D mascot model will be based on an existing PSD file.

Responsibilities:

  1. Modeling:
  • Accurately recreate the mascot based on the provided PSD file, including all design elements.
  • Include details such as clothing, accessories, and other elements present on the mascot.
  • Provide basic skeletal animation for simple movements (e.g., head turn, hand raise).
  1. Texturing:
  • Create UV maps for all parts of the model.
  • Produce high-quality textures for skin, clothing, and accessories.
  • Use normal maps, specular maps, and reflection maps to enhance realism.
  1. Lighting and Rendering:
  • Set up lighting to showcase the model in various conditions (daylight, studio lighting).
  • Provide rendered examples from different angles and positions (at least 4).
  1. Documentation:
  • Provide technical documentation for using the model.
  • Include instructions for setting up textures and materials.

Deliverables:

  1. 3D Model Files:
  • Compatible formats for 3D editors (BLEND, FBX, OBJ) and a .pdf version.
  • Initial submission of 3D model files for approval.
  • Revised 3D model files incorporating any feedback.
  1. Review and Revisions:
  • After the initial submission, the client will review and provide feedback within 2 business days.
  • The artist will have 2 business days to make necessary revisions and resubmit the files.
