We are looking for someone who can help us creating a 3D model of a glass model of an underwater animal.
We are doing usually photogrammetry to get 3D models of real artefacts, but in this specific case, it is a tinted glass model that is not scannable, because of the transparency. Scan lacquer can not be applied due to the high value of the object.
You find an image on the web of the piece, if you are looking for “blue dragon glass blaschka” or under the following link: Blue Dragon
Is it possible to do the piece in 3D from scratch?
Intriguing. Does it have to be physically accurate, as it’s based on the museum piece? Will exact measurements be provided? Or are you just looking for something that’s the correct proportions for the creature that it represents?
Is texturing/shading also required? What render engine are you planning on using?
