3ds import problem

hi,

i found two problems in 3ds import,

  1. the camera is not imported–the object after camera,is given the name of camera,but the actual camera is missing
    2.objects are moved frm their original locations.(a older script(ver0.95?)is better)

blender2.45rc2,python2.5,winxp.

its too late to be fixed in 2.45 but can you provide a 3ds file?

hi,

for missing camera problem,please tell me where to upload 3ds file (it is very basic- a cube,omni light and camera)

for messed up object locations the file is Kitchen 3ds.zip dnload link at(this file also doesnt import camera)

Gurus,
I have a different problem…the import is fine but sometimes the names of the objects imported from autocad-3ds-blender are interchanged. What could be the problem? I am using the default importer that comes with blender 2.44 and not the one of ideasman which does not give the same problem.
