Interface is basically this: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HighTechHexagons

It’s blender for sure:

But mac only and will be paid?

While they legally can do that, big focus on prizes worries and gives me scam vibes:

Yeah, I would highly recommend not downloading this. Whoever did this is breaking the licensing restrictions of the Blender source code (which they’re obviously using), and so they’re probably quite comfortable breaking any other number of things. This is malware in some form or another

Their website is just staggeringly bad. The ‘Blog’ section is just post after post of ChatGPT generated nonsense, and everything about 3IXAM itself is grammatically apparently straight out of Google Translate.

The company is also based in Dubai, and based on a perusal of LinkedIn, employs no software engineers. And the founder, Max Marka, appears to have ties to the Russian government (he was ‘head of the government orders department’ at ‘Customs terminal’ in 2011)? And the CEO just started working for them last week.

Super shady all around.

The YouTube videos also have comments disabled, probably to prevent this sort of discussion.

My question is: why only Macs? I don’t have any particular need for a hideous Russian re-skin no one has ever heard of, but seriously limiting their target audience to 3D newbs who use Mac, are looking for free 3D software, and haven’t heard of Blender seems like such a narrow niche.

I get that any alleged malware that could hypothetically be included in these installs is likely OS specific, but why pick a target that’s going to limit you?

That’s interesting ! There have been a few attempts at selling blender under another name, but TBH on this one they made a bunch of work on the UI , it’s interesting how everything is done inside the viewport even if it’s probably limiting a lot of things…
But yeah, they’ll have to deal with all the legal issue, starting by acknowledging that this is based on blender and also release the source code with the software…

Blendar Pro is much better https://blenderartists.org/t/really-blender-10-pro-cracked-keys-d/1294643

Gullibility

Mac users generally believe that using Mac makes them immune to malware or viruses, so they are generally less wary about sketchy software
