Inspired by retro synthwave music, I wanted to make something with the neon day-glow colors scheme and add a bit of mystery to the setting. I’m pretty happy with the piece so far, except for the points where the blue and pink neon tubes meet each other at the floor. Also, is there a node I can add to the glowing materials to give it more of a “halo” effect?
You could use the glare node in the compositor to add a fast “haloish” effect.
Well ill just point out that i have no idea where the Glass Stair is mounted on. Because it looks like the Stair is doing the Fly Cheat.
Besids of that another big problem is that there is no sense for Perspective. I have no idea where what is. The Stairs dont Match to where i guess is the Wall. The Wall and Floor are very hard to separate because there is no Perspective and no Point Reference.
So you have to do something about the Wall Floor separation. Also you need to make the Stairs more realistic and not free floating.
And add Reference Points. Something that tells me how big everything is and where what is. Take this render of mine for example:
We have many Reference Points like the Couch or the Chairs. The Walls and the Floor are easy to separate. This one shows it even better:
Even although this is in Space and the Walls all look basically the same, we still know how big everything is. There are Ballons and Lamps of which we can estimate the size.
So fix the Perspective
Fix the Reference Points
and then you are done. And also dont Rotate the Camera on the X or Y Axsis. Just keep the Vertical Rotation at 90"
