Caledonian Railway No. 828 hauls a rake of Macintosh 45ft coaches at the beginning of the twentieth century somewhere in Upper Stathearn, Scotland.
Nice - is the bridge based on a specific place?
Thanks. It is loosely based on a bridge that once crossed the River Devon.
The next few images will feature actual places including Almondbank Station and a bridge over the River Earn just before Highlandman Station (just a few fragments now remain). I also plan to place the rolling stock in Perth. Now working on improvements to this rolling stock and a full set of early CR freight stock…
Still stuck with an elderly iMac though…
The East Neuk where I grew up has many a field with the remnants of railway bridges etc. Might be fun to reconstruct the Fife coastal route one day!
I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
O yes. Or what an amazing tourist route it could be!
I need to live another 100 years so I can build everything I want to.
Thanks for your inspiring images by the way - I was going to give up when I saw your first loco…
Wow! Thanks!
Still lots to learn but I must be getting something right!
Never give up, never surrender.
