A good or bad head topology???

Hi! I am noob just getting in blender for a while. I’ve just made a head and I’m wondering that this is a good topology or not. Plz have a look and give me some advice and change something in the mesh for me. I highlighted 3 and 5 pole although I’m don’t know whether 3 pole is good or not. Thanks for your helps!!!

The topology is pretty good, especially for a first project. Poles are where the topology changes direction. Sometimes it’s 3-poles

Sometimes 5-poles

I have a tendancy to build the back of the head with rows of faces radiating out from the ear. I find it gives me a rounder skull in back. It isn’t a big deal, since that part of the skull is usually covered with hair, and doesn’t get a lot of attention anyway.

A more significant problem is the facial features. The eyes and mouth seem to be on a plane. Actually, the mouth and the eye socket wrap around the skull. You need to move the corners of the mouth back, a lot, as well as the outside corner of the eye socket.

I recommend using a reference drawing as a background image.

looks fine. try to keep the quads more “square’ish” and less “rectangular’ish” will make it easier to work with later.

Thanks for help you guys!! Bigggg thanks to orinoco because of your aweeesomee answer!
