This year, I worked on the most detailed isometric room I’ve ever created in Blender 3D – and it was truly special!
@sofabrik35, an incredible artist who crafts polymer clay and resin treasures, received this miniature 3D workspace illustration as a Christmas surprise from her son, @xiaolan.art. She loves plants, books, and the color green – so I made sure every little detail reflected her passions!
The journey wasn’t easy – my own notebook couldn’t handle all the objects, so I borrowed my boyfriend’s, @morkenzi . Even then, rendering became a challenge, but the lovely @mjyrnchoon helped me out with that! 🩷
This project was close to my heart because it was a way to bring joy after Xiaolan experienced a tough situation. Knowing this gift brought a smile to Sophie’s face made it all worth it.
Creating this reminded me why I love making isometric 3D art – every tiny detail tells a story. Thank you, Sophie and Xiaolan, for trusting me with such a heartfelt gift!
Thanks for watching! Happy Holidays!
