Updated in first post – finally took a morning and worked out the kinks in the elbow deforms. Also, tweaked the dog’s fur particles and materials. And I gave her the ribbon she so richly deserved. Full size is bigger now, too (800x1600). (It’s the same filenames as the first time I did it, so you may have to Ctrl-Reload page to see it.)

Now that you fixed the main issues and provided a bigger image I can see more smaller issues. I’m not sure that you are looking for C&C but here they are anyway:

  • the shadows look funny. Contact shadows are needed badly.
  • The mom’s shirt looks bad, the folds are missing . With a bit of softbody you could fix it, I suppose you plan to do that anyway for animation.

I remember this from SIGGRAPH…looking good! I like the mom’s face…that sort of thing is so hard to do successfully.
