A problem with cycles

Anytime that I use Ctrl + Alt + Numpad 0 to focus the camera on a particular object it doesn’t work when I’m using the cycles engine for rendering . How do I fix this

The shortcuts are independent from the render engine.
I guess the problem comes from the blendfile.
Try if it works for a new scene.

Also, be sure you’re not ALREADY in camera view or “camera locked to view”. I had that problem with a render I was setting up just today. Drive me crazy until I realise I already had cam view locked. =)
