A real clock made with Blender

I could not have done this without Blender, the Outline to SV.G script and Freecad. Blender’s native dxf export script is not usable by industrial laser cutters.
The project was constructed from 11 gauge hot rolled pickled oiled steel (2.9 mm thick) which was tungsten inert gas brazed together with silicon bronze TIG wire.
The project was supposed to be treated with black oxide and have bright gold, polished braze joints and then everything would be clear coated. That was an idea that cost me a lot of money and it didn’t work out as prolific rusting occured.
I should have clear coated it after I had the black oxide and rust blasted off but I didn’t. Bad idea but I’ll never make that mistake again. From here forward, all of my projects will be clear coated (Cerakote) after they are sandblasted.
