Hey guys. Thought I’d start my own sketchbook post. I’m currently working on modeling a Battletech Crab for fun. It’s one of my favorite 'mechs and I thought it’d be a good way to learn how to use Blender a bit better.
That’s just a screenshot of my 3d viewport so far. I’ve got a bit more work done at home on it but I’ll post that update in a little bit. Is there an easier way to create sharper edges than more loops? I saw on Andrew Price’s youtube channel something about not using creases when he made the anvil. I guess I’ll need to go back and see why he suggested not using them. I can’t recall the exact reason but that’s why I haven’t used them yet. What do you guys do? Loops or creases?
