ABOUT NURBS MODELING

:o ´give me some good tips about nurbs modeling, because i want to learn more of that, but there arent very much good tutorials on the web. at least i haven’t found those. if some good tips would come to me through this website, the eternal happiness and gratitude would again come to you.

This is the tutorial I began to learn NURBs from. It gets quite complicated quite fast but it lays down the basics pretty well imo.

Actually, this tutorial deals with surface curves… There is a slight difference between them and NURBS or Bezier curves… One of them is that you can’t actually achieve the “skinning” effect kib is describing there with simple NURBS curves… The skining works only with surfaces… Never forget that…

Anyway an other cool thing that you can do with curves in general is that you can very easily create beveled objects…

Take a look at this:

Also take a look at this…

It was also included in the official Blender guide book…

It has pretty much all you need to know on how to use and manipulate all kinds of curves in Blender…

I hope I’ve helped you enough…

the eternal happiness and gratitude would again come to you.

Don’t know about eternal happiness and gratitude, but I sure could use some cash right now… :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:
