Hi there! I’m a fairly new blender artist. Have been using for about a month now.
I have this question about rendering; now
Say I want to make an animation in blender. I will make an object spin for 10 frames, then stop for 10
frames, and then spin differently for another 10 frames etc. Now my question is…will blender have to render those 10 frames of nothing changing 10 times or does blender somehow figure this
out on it’s own? I don’t know if this is the place to ask, if not please redirect me to the right topic.

Blender would render those exactly equal 10 frames. Sometimes when I make an animation with a png sequence and I edit it with another software, for example After Effects, I can just extend one static frame in time in thise kind of situation. Another solution would be to just duplicate manually the frame file but that would be time and memory consuming.

Hello, I have just started learning Blender and I am using Blender 4.1. I am trying to render from a point cloud, but no matter what format I use, I cannot see the color or material of the point cloud. When I first downloaded it, the point cloud visualizer was not available, so I found a file on GitHub and added it to my Blender. I think I am experiencing a similar issue with the colors. Can you please help me with how to fix this?
