My first attempt to apply an image texture is failing so far. I need to fit a very basic diffuse texture to a simple cube, but my texture does not seem to listen to the UV editor. When I move the verts on the right side of the cube, the texture moves as expected, but when I move the verts on the left side, nothing happens. What am I missing? In the shading network I tried all options in the texture coordinates operator.
While in an UV-editor window, press U on ur object and choose ‘Cube Projection’
After that, try to scale your uv cube by pressing S and then press X/Y/Z depending on which axis u want to scale your uv
Also, in Mapping node, switch from Point to Texture
