Seems like your finished with the comments but I just wanted to say I liked your first image best. No one else seemed to. The second one without DOF looked bland and too CG and the third looked like that soft focus effect done by camera folks. It looks nice but I still like image 1 best ;).
Definitely better without DOF. It’s much easier on the eyes and makes finding “stuff” more fun. Good job.
