Is it possible to access the undo history of an object after closing Blender and restarting it days later?
I deformed a UV sphere with a lattice, and I can’t seem to do the same thing a second time… because I can’t remember what I did. 
CTRL+ALT+Z probably only works if you just created an object and did not close the program.

Try it and see. If it doesn’t then your question is answered.
i think history works only when enable and when the file is open
if you close the file then the history is not saved and you loose it !
