I decided to base this one on “Alex” or “Hero M” from RPG Maker 2003, since it’s a design I’ve always enjoyed. The outfits and the characters have swappable palettes as part of the product features. I think I want more detail on the X belts, and I might pop up the belts on the shorts, either extrude them or separate them from the mesh. It’s not rigged yet either.
After the male version is done to my satisfaction, I’ll make a female version as well. I’ll probably base it off this outfit instead of the female hero from RPGM2003 since I was never as impressed with that design as I was with Alex’s.
I don’t know if I want to call this design “Hero” like RPGM does, so I’m welcome to other naming suggestions. Might just be something like “Alex Outfit”, or “RPG Outfit 01”.
