Dear Blender Community! I’ve recently released a new addon for animators.
If you like Mechanim systems in game engines, you might like this modular, node based approach to constructing animations. It uses Actions as inputs, from there you can construct more complex animations, more efficiently by using looping, scaling, reversing, trimming, root motion etc. The output will be another Action ready to use, no baking required.
This is not exactly procedural, which is a good thing because it means you can easily export the animation to another software or use without the addon. Feel free to post any questions and feedback here.
