It seems that node system is not yet supported or integrated with the new xml format. I get an error of a mal formed material matLib xml. - just read at the top post, material node is not yet supported.
But just for the sake of running render_corona_1.9.4_DEV.zip, definitely it works, but when I tried 77mb .blend file with hi-poly counts, strange thing happened, the GI computation is endless…
But all the scene files has been exported properly, when you render it using command line via the new xml format standalone corona, it works without delay.
Yep, it looks like those have been removed. I don’t host them myself. It’s my understanding that Corona Standalone is currently undergoing development, and I’m sure it’s in a state of flux and probably changing locations.
I tried tweaking the color map settings in the corona virtual frame buffer but I noticed each time I re-render the settings go back to default. Tried tweaking in the post processing tab in the render options in Blender. Those don’t update in the corona render window as well. Has this been disabled too?
Yeah, 2.77 uses Python 3.5; the addon was compiled with Python 3.4, so it’s not compatible as-is.
For the sake of total transparency - I won’t be continuing development on this any further. On a positive note, the code is still open source; anyone who wants to is welcome to fork it and continue development. Life, marriage, kids, work… there are only so many hours in the day for all these things, unfortunately.
Thanks for your work on it. it’s true life is important.
it still works on 2.66 perfectly fine, the only thing bugging me is the hair system it takes very long time to export it like for example if I want to make a rug, other than that it’s great.
Actually we have to say BIG THANK You for Your great work for our blender community. Your 1.9.2 exporter has changed live a many blender users. Corona is very good render engine. Thank You for giving us a source code - maybe someone will take a challange to prepare 2.77 version.
One more time - Thank You.
Greetings
Just wondering is there technical possibility in future have progressive rendering in viewport like in cycles? because on big scenes export take very long time on same scene in cycles - few seconds…

64 bit system? Which Windows? OS & drivers updated? Installed as administrator? Possibility of AntiVirus or Windows blocking? You got full rights (read/write)? Restarted the machine? Which CPU?
Sorry, but with such a general description… am out of ideas.
